Black Veil Brides reside in Cincinnati, Ohio. The band was founded by Andy Six and co-founder Chris Stewart. Soon enough Nate called them up and asked to be in the band, looking to take the role as lead guitar he was out of luck as he took Phil’s role as playing bass but only for a short period of time as he soon become the guitarist within weeks making BVB a four band piece.
They started almost immediately with ideas for that band as Nate had a few ideas from his previous band “Last Reaction”. BVB wanted to sort of bea ‘glamish’ band with more of a edge related to 69 Eyes; however that was abandoned as time went on but their songs such as, “Sex and Hollywood” & “Hello My Hate” have a reminiscent of the music that influenced them so much.
By 2007 of June BVB was pretty much well known and was playing constantly in front of large crowds, however the bands line-up had changed. Chris went on to another and and Phil left, but their depart only left openings for new arrival’s such as Bobby, Mark, Mike and an edition of a new element to their sound Kevin …boards.
Nate was the main writer of the music that became BVB, which he took very seriously as Andy’s lyrics were more about heart or personal feelings. Nate’s lyrics releated to a daker poetic level.
Sadly after a final hometown show before going back to the studio to record new BVB songs and plan their first music video, Andy noticed the distance growing between him and Nate. They talked less and less, practices and rehearsals would stretch for weeks at a time without anything and their writing process was getting even slower. Andy became frustrated by this; seeing how their fan base was growing strongly and he felt BVB was coming to a surprising and screeching halt. Nate on the other hand felt the songs should take more time. Over a month passed and Bobby informed the rest of the band that Nate and Kevin were leaving BVB.
Late 2009 Pan was kicked out of Black Veil Brides. Pan made up various rumours about the band, especially targetting Andy and telling his fans what a fake he was.
BVB plans to continue the writing and has fairly big news pertaining the name of BVB as well.
